Best time to go

Cornwall is located on the far western tip of England. With its mild climate, it is worth visiting any time of the year. You’ll get the best weather between May and September, but the beaches can get quite busy in July and August. Spring and autumn may bring gorgeous sunshine and are great for coastal hikes without the crowds. Be prepared for rain at any time of year, though Cornwall is one of the warmest spots in Britain.

By Air

Newquay is the closest airport with connecting flights from London and some European cities. Bristol and Exeter are served by more airlines.

By Car

Car hire is recommended to get the best from Cornwall.
