While you’re in Cornwall, you should not leave out the most mysterious and romantic garden in England.
And you will need at least a whole day to explore the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a 1000 acre highlight in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Lose yourself in a world of pastures, green meadows and woodlands with mature old trees – some of them planted as early as the 1850s – and rare plants which add a mystical and enchanted atmosphere. The Gardens offer not only a genuine jungle, home to one of the longest Burmese Rope Bridges, but also more than 70 camellias and 350 ancient rhododendron bushes which are found throughout the grounds. Heligan is open all year round for exploration and beyond.
