A popular restaurant with a beautiful terrace, set right on the quayside in Saint Martin’s inner harbour.
Overlooking rows of bobbing boats, La Baleine Bleue is at its best on balmy summer evenings, when the setting sun casts a rose-gold glow over the water. The classic French menu focuses heavily on local seafood, so expect the likes of oysters and sole meunière, as well as a few meat dishes. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it for the view, the buzz and the quality of the food. And once dinner’s finished, the tables are pushed back to make way for a dance floor where you can party into the night.
